• Worked for the promotion of exports from the Province of Alberta into Japan in various areas: initially food and agricultural products, including beef, pork, Canola seed and hay; then in other areas such as Building materials, Energy,　Petrochemical, Information Technology, Education, and Tourism.
• Organized and/or participated in promotional events such as seminars, product demonstrations etc. for the promotion of the above products and services.
• Assisted business people in Alberta by providing market intelligence, names and addresses of potential clients, and making the travel arrangements for them for their business trips to Japan.
• Assisted business people visiting from Alberta to meet with Japanese (potential) clients, providing translation/interpretation assistance when necessary.
• Assisted Japanese companies making business trips to Alberta, by providing industry information, setting up business meetings with (potential) partners, and making travel plans.
  During the period of work for the Alberta Government’s Japan Office, I conducted extensive research and participated in numerous business trips involving both Japan and Alberta.
